The Plastics Extrusion World Expo is heading to
MESSE ESSEN in Germany from 3 – 4 June 2020. 

 

Following the launch in Cleveland, Ohio USA, this event brings together professionals from across the plastics extrusion industry for two days of networking, knowledge sharing and innovation. Francisco Quesada
Klöckner Pentaplast
Director of Product Line Management for Flexibles

Francisco Quesada is the Global Director of Product Line Management Flexibles in charge of barrier and stretch films portfolio.

Francisco holds a master degree in Biochemistry and a master degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Valencia, Spain. He also holds an executive MBA from ESIC Marketing School, Spain.

He started as an engineer in Dow Chemical HQ in Horgen, Switzerland in 1998. Then, he moved to Valencia where he developed his career. He engaged onto a 2 years European funded R&D project in the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA-CSIC). In 2002 he joined Pilarica, S.A., a medium size family owned company specialised in food ingredients for the meat industry where he became the Sales&Marketing Director. From 2007 till 2012 he played several roles within the food ingredients sector (CARINSA) and packaging machinery (ULMA Packaging). In 2012 he joined LINPAC, which was acquired by kp in 2017. He has played different roles within the flexibles business in kp, Business Development Manager, Global sales Director and lately, since last July, Global PLM for Flexibles.

Francisco has been working in the packaging industry for more than 10 years and represents kp in CEFLEX (Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging).
