EXPO POSTPONED TO 2021

On-going uncertainty created by Coronavirus pandemic has led to the decision to delay the Plastics Extrusion World Expo and its co-located shows until 1-2 June 2021.

Rita Andrews, head of exhibitions at AMI, said “We have been reviewing the fast-changing situation daily, and we have been consulting with exhibitors, Messe Essen, local government and health authorities. Our primary concerns are for the health and safety of all attendees at our events, and delivering the very best audience for our exhibitors. With these factors in mind, we have taken the decision to postpone the expos”.

The Plastics Extrusion World Expo is heading to
MESSE ESSEN in Germany from 1-2 June 2021.

E-Commerce & Channel Manager EMEA

Andrea joined Sealed Air Food Care in 2011 as Sales Specialist Ready Meals Italy. In 2012, he was appointed Retail Manager Italy. He brings a solid experience in developing deep relationships with the key players in the most important retailers and thanks to the know-how gained by collaborating with retailers and his consumer centric approach allowed Sealed Air to develop profitable business, set trends in the market and introduce packaging innovations.

In 2018 has been appointed E-Commerce Manager EMEA. This new position allows Sealed Air to focus on the rapidly growing Grocery E-commerce business and execute the strategy in creating profitable growth with highly differentiated innovations and disruptive technologies.

Prior to Sealed Air he gained significant experience in the sales business, especially importing beef meat from South America and commercializing it at main retailers. Furthermore he worked at Salumificio F.lli Beretta (one of the biggest European processed meat companies), where he had the responsibility of strategic projects like the development of ready meals market and strategic joint ventures with European groups in the food industry. Thanks to these 15 years cooperation, he developed a solid background of strategic marketing.
